Terra Innovatum a company organized under the laws of Italy with registered office at Via Matteo Trenta, 117 Lucca, Italy (hereinafter, the “Data Controller” or the “Company”) takes the user’s right to privacy seriously. The Data Controller values the trust you place in this website and its services when it comes to user’s personal information; indeed, respecting users’ privacy is fundamental to their interactions with the Company.

What data do we process?

The following data are processed by the Data Controller:

  • Personal identification data (First Name, Last Name, Email address) of the user who fills in the contact form on the website, as well as further information included in the messages sent.

  • IP address and other Internet data useful to run the website and the user’s navigation.

How do we collect data?

Users directly provide the Data Controller with most of the collected data. Other data (e.g. navigation data) are automatically generated by the use of the website.

How will we use your data?

Personal data will be used to:

  • Allow the user to surf the website, in compliance with T&Cs or to respond to the requests submitted through the online form. The legal basis of this processing is the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party;

  • Allow the Company to reach out to the user who fills in the contact form. The legal basis of this processing is the legitimate interest of the Controller.

 

The provision of the data is necessary also for the performance of a contact, failing which it will not be possible to provide the above. Furthermore, the data will be processed where necessary for improving the performance of the website and for the exercise of the Data Controller's and/or a third party’s right of defense.

To whom do we communicate data?

The data will be communicated for the pursuit of the purposes outlined above service providers IT services (e.g., for running the website or to perform the contact), which is contractually bound as data processor. For the purposes of defense, the data may be communicated to third party consultants, in their capacity as autonomous data controllers. For the purposes of the law, the data may instead be communicated to the competent authorities, in their capacity as independent data controllers. 

How long do we store your data?

We securely store your data on our secured platform which is currently hosted in a European based data center.

In light of the contact activity that the user might request, personal data are stored no longer than 15 days by the request unless differently required by necessity of the request or defense purposes. We also store navigation data for evidence and defense purposes for no more than six months.

What are your data protection rights?

We would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights:

  • The right to access (Article 15) – You have the right to request us for copies of your personal data.

  • The right to rectification (Article 16) – You have the right to request that we correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request us to complete the information you believe is incomplete.

  • The right to erasure (Article 17) – You have the right to request that we erase your personal data, under certain conditions.

  • The right to limit or suspend the Service (Article 18) – You can ask at all time to suspend the use of the Service. In this case the recorded message would then be deleted.

  • The right to restrict processing (Article 21) – You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

  • The right to object to processing (Article 22) – You have the right to object to us processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

  • The right to data portability (Article 20) – You have the right to request that we transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.
